Sheridan Taylor Scarth, 17, resident of 2222 Glover Road, died Wednesday morning at his home. Born in Durham, he was the son of April Taylor Rogers and William Sheridan Scarth. He attended the Bethel Christianeenter and was employed with Premier Painting and Home Improvement Company. Sheridan was truly and outdoorsman who enjoyed baseball, water skiing, hunting and fishing. He could easily brighten a room with his warm smile and charisma. All who knew Sheridan will miss him greatly. Surviving are his father, William S. Scarth of Durham, NC; his mother and step-father, April Taylor Rogers and Allen Rogers of Chatham County; two brothers, Dylan Scarth of Durham and William Lee Scarth of Apex; one sister, April Nicole Mullins of Pink Hill; maternal grandparents, Sam and Linda Taylor of Durham; and paternal grandparents, Jimmy R. Scarth of Laverkin, UT and Barbara A. Lezette of Hillsborough, NC. A Celebration of Sheridan's Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 16, 2008 from the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Home with Pastor Doneestbrook presiding. Burial will follow in Markham Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home.
