Sibyl Frances Clayton

Durham- Sibyl Frances Clayton, age 94, of Durham, died Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Terra Bella in Hillsborough. She was a Durham native, born September 10, 1929, to the late Walter Lavaille and Callie Tilley Totten.

Sibyl is survived by her brother, Phillip Totten, and her nieces and nephews, Bill (Sandra) Totten, Betsy (Rusty) Mincey, Tim (Wendy) Sorrell, Debra Sorrell, Julie Totten, and David Totten.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Clayton.

A graveside service will be held for family and friends at Pleasant Green United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 6 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Justin Robins officiating.

The family would like to thank Terra Bella and Gentiva Hospice for their care and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Green UMC General Fund.
