Stephanie Kahr Berry

DURHAM - Stephanie Kahr Berry was born October 15, 1964, and departed from us on Tuesday, April 15, 2013. Stephanie was raised in Champaign, Illinois, but spent her adult life in North Carolina. She is survived by her devoted husband, Scott Berry of Durham, and stepsons, Casey and Josh; her precious parents, Toby and Rita Kahr of Chapel Hill; a brother, Richard Kahr of Boonton, New Jersey, and nephews Matthew, J.T., and Jake, and niece, Kristen: and sister, Jenneer MCGinnis of Durham. All loved her deeply. Stephanie gave more to others than she gave to herself, neer met a stranger, and lived life to the fullest. She loved to travel, play games, laugh, and generally have fun. She was formidable, fearless, feisty, and a tower of strength for everyone around her. Above all, Stephanie loved and was loved by her husband, Scott, and they were best friends. She was all anyone could have asked for as a wife, daughter, and sister, and she will be terribly missed. The family will receive friends to celebrate Stephanie's life at 4809 Marena Place, Durham, NC, 27707, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., on Saturday, April 27, 2013.
