Oxford, NC Stephen O???Brian Hight, age 65, died oneebruary 23, 2020 at UNC Rex Healthcare. ??He was born to James Thomas Hight, Sr and Jean Marie O???Brian Hight on April 23, 1954 in Granville County. Steve graduated high school and joined the US Army in 1974 and served till 1979. He met and married his wife, Ammie, in 1979. He joined the US Navy in 1981 and served till 1985.???? He came back to North Carolina and worked for John Umstead as a master carpenter for 19 years. Steve is survived by his wife, Aimme; his dog, Sambo; his mother, Jean Marie and his niece, Jo Letterman of Youngsville, NC and many loving friends and family. Steve was predeceased by his father and his brother, James ???Jimmy??? Thomas Hight, Jr. Visitation for Steve will be held Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 9:30 am at Enon Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall.???? The funeral service will be at 11:00 am in the sanctuary at Enon Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Steve Brown.?? Burial to follow at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.
