OXFORD: Steven Goodin-Cruz, age 5, died Thursday, April 22, 2010. Born in Orange County, he was the son of Jason Goodin and Anneel Cruz of Oxford and he was a Pre-K student at West Oxford Elementary School. Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. from South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem by Father Bill Upah. Surviving in addition to his mother and father are four brothers, Matthew Goodin, Devin Goodin, Jacob Goodin and Logan Goodin-Cruz; paternal grandparents, William Goodin of Thomasville, GA and Janee Cleveland of Oxford; maternal grandmother, Maria Del Carmeneendez of Cary; maternal great-grandmother Maria Antonia Mendez; paternal great-grandmothers, Lillian Jones and Louise Gibson both of Thomasville, GA The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the home at 5644 Needham Drive, Oxford, NC 27565 For online condolences go to www.gnvfh.com and select obituaries.
