Steveneee Farrell

Steveneee Farrell, 59, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009 from congestive heart failure. Steve was the son of the late Horace Farrell and is survived by his mother, Mrs. Wheme Allen "Buddy" Farrell. Steve graduated from Southern Adventist Uneersity with a BA in English. He received his Masters degree in Education Administration from Old Dominion Uneersity in Norfolk, VA. Steve was an Academic Instructor at Southampton Correctional Center from 1972 2004; and was Assistant Principal of Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt, VA from 2004 2008. Steve loved the beach, arts, hiking and canoeing. He enjoyed spending time with his niece and nephew. Steve attended the first Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC, and along with his sister Kay, neer missed one for 30 years. He was truly a people person loved my many. Steve was a member of Pittsboro Seventh-day Adventist Church in Pittsboro, NC. In addition to his mother, Steve is survived by his sisters, Kay Farrell of Winter Springs, FL, and Madelyn Farrell Mann and her husband Terry "Bunny" Mann of Bynum, NC; unee, Almon Farrell of Bel Air, MD; aunt, Joanna Caravias of Pittsboro, NC; niece, Shelley Marie and nephew Zach Farrell Mann. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 8:00 pm Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Griffin Funeral Service in Pittsboro, NC. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Yale Seventh-day Adventist Church in Yale, VA. Inurnment will be in the Saint George Cemetery, Saint George, SC, where his father is interred.
