Sylvia Currin Holloman

OXFORD: Sylvia Currin Holloman, died Friday October 26, 2012 at Duke Medical Center. She was a native of Granville Co. and was the daughter of Mae Love Currin and the late Chaneer Tunstall Currin, Sr. Sylvia was a retired school teacher and member of Hester Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Peace College and the Uneersity of North Carolina. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday October 31, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Hester Baptist Church by Dr. Randy Bridges, Dr. Lavelle Waters and Rev. Alex Gallimore. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Surviving in addition to her mother is her husband, Ted Grey Holloman; step-children, Patrick Grey HollomanTeresa of Bahama and Scott Hunter HollomanLaura Powell of Raleigh; brother, Chanee CurrinLynn of Oxford; grandson, Logan Hollomaneephew, Blake Edward Currin. The family will receive friends Tuesday night October 30, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of Mae Love Currin.
