Theresa Marie King

Theresa Marie King, age 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 24, 2023. She was born on August 1, 1956, in Northampton, Massachusetts, to the late William Williams and Marie Guilmette Fay.

Theresa's legacy lives on through her loving sons, Michael King (Lisa) and Thomas King (Sherry) and her mother, Marie Fay.. She adored her grandchildren, Madison, Aaron, Makavia, Dahaven, Jazmine, and Brandon King (Stacy), as well as her four precious great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her siblings Cheryl Truehart (Noel), Cindy Fontaine, Karen Fay, and Donnie Fay. Theresa had a special bond with her sister-in-law, Leslie Sheret, and leaves behind countless friends and family members whose lives she touched in profound ways.

She was preceded in death by her father, William and her brothers, Harold Fay, Jr. and David “Davy” Fay.

Theresa's warm spirit, love for her family, and the countless lives she touched will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.

To honor Theresa's life and the love she shared, a celebration of her journey will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at 2:00 pm. The service will take place in the Chapel at Gentry-Newell & Vaughan Funeral Home, located at 503 College Street, Oxford, NC. All who knew Theresa are welcome to join in commemorating her legacy.
