Vernie B. Medlin

Vernie Bradshaw Medlin, 65, passed away on Tuesday June 4th. She was born April 25, 1948 to Refo and Lula West Bradshaw and raised by her grandmother, Omie Bradshaw. Vernie was a member Grey Stone Baptist Church and was a beautician for many years. In addition to devoting couneess hours to her family and church, Vernie love to read books aneenjoyed spending time at Duke Gardens and the museum's butterfly house. She is survived by a son Randy "Jay" Rich of Creedmoor, his wife Kathryn and their children, Austin and Madalyn Rich. She is also survived by Randy Rich, Steve Medlin and Sandra Rich. She will be deeply missed by her family and neerous friends. The family will visit with friends from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Saturday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 W. Main St., Durham, where funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Randall Floyd will officiate.
