Vinson Beckwith

Vinsoneeckwith, 72, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008. He was born in Durham on January 18, 1936. He is survived by his wife Brenda Beckwith of Durham; his daughter Angela Fluet and husband Tim of Hillsborough; his sons Vinsoneeckwith, Jr. and wife Melissa of Hillsborough; Douglas Beckwith and wife Anee of Roxboro; and grandchildren Jonathan Fluet, Zachary Fluet, Vinson Blaine Beckwith, Hannah Beckwith, Leightoneeckwith, Aneew Beckwith and Nathaneeckwith; two nieces Pat Ford and husband Lewis, and Joye Pendergrass and Husband Ron. A visitation will be held, Friday, June 6, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 P.M. at First Pentecostal Church, 2008 W. Carver St., Durham. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 7, 2008 from First Pentecostal Church with the Pastor Johnny Godair officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Woodlawneemetery.
