Virgie S. Pleasant, 95, died Friday, August 17 at her home on Woodland Dr., Durham.

She was born to John Bailey and Jerusha Stinson on August 7, 1912 in Goldston, NC. She was predeceased by her husband, Major Y. Pleasant. Mrs. Pleasant was employed with Liggett & Meyers Tobacco Company for 37 years, retiring in 1970. She will be remembered by here smile, her many thoughts of kineess, sharing many family stories, baking pies & cakes for friends and love of her family. She was truly a
