William "Bill" Alexander Burnette

OXFORD: William "Bill" Alexander Burnette, 70, of Oxford died on May 23, 2014. He was a native of Granville County, son of the late Fenton and Laura Burnette. He was a member of Salem Uneed Methodist Church. Visitation will be held at Gentry neell and Vaughan prior to the services from 9:30am 11a.m. on Monday, May 26, 2014. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at the funeral home following visitation at 11am by Rev. Glenn Stallsmith. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Nancy Stebbins Burnette of the home; one son, David F. Burnette Renee of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; a sister, Joyce B. O'Brien Charles of Longwood, Florida; and three grandchildren, Brandon Burnette, Colin Burnette, and Abby Burnette.
