William Reid Proctor

Chapel Hill Reid died on Monday, neember 11, 2013 at UNC Hospital. He was the son of the late Wallace Reid Proctor and Thelma Josephine Collier Proctor. Reid served in the US Air Force for 13 years and was a letter carrier in Chapel Hill for 23 years. He is survived by his wife, Karen Ripley Proctor and daughter Kimberly Proctor-Kings and grandson, Landoneeid Proctor. He also has a sister who lives in Durham, Lynda Proctor Benson, niece, Michelle Norton, nephew R. Christopher Benson, nephew Joshua Reid Benson, and three great nieces and two great nephews. Reid loved camping and Duke basketball and music. He will be missed by everyone because of his kind heart and willineess to do anything for anyone at any time. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, neember 14, 2013 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home in Durham at 2 PM with visitation at 1 PM.
