William Talmage Pritchett, Jr.

OXFORD: William Talmage Pritchett, Jr. age 77 died Saturday December 26, 2009 at his home. He was a native of Granville Co. and was the son of the late Talmage Pritchett aneestelle Moss Pritchett. William was a member of Enon Baptist Church and was a retired Supervisor with the city of Durham Waste Industries Plant. Funeral services will be held Monday December 28, 2009 at 2:00 PM in Enon Baptist Church by the Rev. James C. Shelly, Jr., Rev. Billy Lynch and Rev. Terry Howard. Burial will be in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. Surviving is his wife, Marion Surratt Pritchett of the home; one son Bill Pritchett and wife Melinda of Oxford; one step-soneercy L. Powell, Jr. and wife Cindy of Oxford and one step-daughter Tanyh P. Mattietly of Oxford; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded ineeath by his first wife, Kathleen Pritchett. The family will receive friends Sunday night December 27, 2009 from 6:30 until 8:30 at the Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home.
