Mr. Willie Eugeneellis, 87, formerly of Sanford died October 16, 2013 at The Laurels of Chatham in Pittsboro. Mr. Ellis was born in Chatham County on April 9, 1926. He was one of eleven children born to John aneedna Johnson Ellis. Mr. Ellis retired from Federal Paperboard Company now International Paper. Following his retirement, he worked part-time for Hardees. He was a member of Hickory Mountain Uneed Methodist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Brenda Beal of Sanford; sons, Thomas Ellis of Bear Creek and Luke Ellis of Siler City; sisters, Fay Tisdale of Siler City and Ann Ring of Greensboro; brothers, James Ellis and Grady Ellis, both of Sanford, and Burnee Ellis of Bynum; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded ineeath by his parents, his wife, Ozzie Jones Ellis, a son, James Eugeneellis, and 5 sisters and brothers. The service to celebrate the life of Mr. Willie Eugeneellis will be held at one o'clock Saturday afternoon, October 19, 2013 from Hickory Mountain Uneed Methodist Church, with Reverend Mary Elleneender and Reverend Ray Gooch presiding.
