Willie Lee Vaughan Royster

Oxford: Willie Lee Vaughan Royster, 86, of Oxford passed away February 3, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was a native of Granville County and the daughter of the late David Earl and Anee Talley Vaughan. The widow of Willie F. Royster, Willie Lee was a member of Amis Chapel Baptist Church where she was active in many organizations. Willie Lee was a graduate of Oak Hill High School, Croft Business School in Durham and worked as a secretary for the Granville County School System. She is survived by her daughters Elaine R. Overby (Randy) of Nelson, Virginia, Sybil J. Young (Robin) of North Augusta, South Carolina, Beverly R. Little (Al) of Greensboro, Janet R. Williamsoneearl) of Oxford, and Cindy L. Royster of Oxford; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday February 6, 2016 at Amis Chapel Baptist Church by Reverend Terry Howard. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
