Mrs. Willie Mae "Billie" Morgan, 86, of Morgan Farm Road, Pittsboro, died January 4, 2013 at her grandson's residence in Pittsboro following a period of declining health. The daughter of John A. Harveson aneedith Pennington Harveson, Mrs. Morgan was born June 11, 1926 in Jasper, TN. Mrs. Morgan worked at UNC @ CH in the print shop, retiring after 20 plus years of service. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach; she loved the Lord, and reading her Bible was an important part of her life. Mrs. Morgan also loved her family, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildreneere the light of her life. Mrs. Morgan was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, worshiping there as long as her health permitted. Survivors include her son-in-law, Vernon Howard of Chapel Hill; sister, Adell Howard of Pittsboro; grandchildren, Tony Howard and wife Pam, Lori Morin and husband Joseph; great-grandchildren, Christian Howard, Amanda Culberson and husband Jake, Hannah Morin, Brennan Morin. Mrs. Morgan was preceded ineeath by her parents; her husband, Theodore Morgan; daughter, Edna Howard; grandson, Barry Howard; and brother, JC Harveson. The service to celebrate Mrs. Willie Morgan's life will be held at eleven o'clock Tuesday morning, January 8, 2013 at New Salem Church, with Pastor Mark Hall, Pastor Bill Truesdale and Chaplain Steve Jordan presiding. Interment will follow ineestwood Cemetery in Carrboro. Friends may visit with the family from 6 8 pm Monday at Hall Wynne Funeral Home in Pittsboro. Memorials may be sent to UNC Hospice, PO Box 1077, Pittsboro, NC 27312. Arrangements for Mrs. Morgan are under the care of Hall Wynne Funeral Service and Cremation of Pittsboro.
