Winifred Winee J. Barbaza

Winifred "Winee" J. Barbaza, age 88, resident of 3007 Pickett Road, died Friday evening at Hock Hospice, Duke Community Hospice. Mrs. Barbaza was born in Richmond County, New York and was the daughter of the late Michael and Winifred Kelly Heneghan. She will be remembered as a loving Wife, mother and a grandmother. Having been a homemaker for most of her life, she loved her family and church. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, Clement Barbaza, her daughter, Kristina J. Barbaza of Washington, DC; her son Michael A. Barbaza and wife, Marisa of Durham; her niece, Pat Lang of Cresskill, NJ and two grandchildren, Oscar Clement Barbaza and Quineelemer Barbaza of Durham. Mrs. Barbaza was predeceased by two sisters, Helen McDonough and Catherine Reiley both of New York and a brother, Johneeneghan of Washington, DC. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service and 10 to 11 AM Monday at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Fr. William McIntyre O.F.M. will preside.
