Mrs. Zelma Lorbacher, 95, peacefully passed away at The Laurels, Friday, February 24, 2012. A native of Durham County, Zelma was born daughter to the late John & Lula Anderson. There, she lived most of her life farming with her husband, Ervin. Finally settling in Chatham County 25 years ago, this loving homemaker devoted her life to her family and her faith. In addition to her parents, Zelma is preceded ineeath by her husband, Ervin Lorbacher; brother, Wesley Anderson and sister, Thelma A. Mendenhall. She is survived by her son, Johnee Alvin Lorbacher, Sr. and wife Edna, of Aneer, NC; four grandchildren; nee great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A funeral service for Mrs. Lorbacher will be held 4:00PM, Sunday, February 26, at Mt. Pleasant UMC, with Pastor Jim Jones & Reverend Jim Cochran officiating.
